Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Welcome to Kundli.Click. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kundli.Click Vedic Astrology API, developer dashboard, and associated documentation (collectively, the "Service"). By registering an account or generating an API key, you agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent.

1. API Usage & Licensing

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of all applicable fees, Kundli.Click grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our proprietary calculation engine via our REST API.

  • Sandbox Access: The free Sandbox tier (using kndl_sk_test_ keys) is provided strictly for local development and UI testing. You may not route live commercial traffic through the Sandbox environment.
  • Rate Limits: You must respect the concurrency and volume limits defined in your active compute tier. Automated attempts to bypass rate limits will result in immediate API key suspension.
  • Prohibited Actions: You may not reverse-engineer, cache for longer than 24 hours, scrape, or attempt to reconstruct our proprietary astrological matrices from the API outputs to build a competing calculation engine.

2. Data Privacy & Zero-PII Policy

Kundli.Click operates a strict stateless architecture. As detailed in our Privacy Policy, we do not store, log, or require Personally Identifiable Information (PII). You are strictly prohibited from passing names, emails, phone numbers, or IP addresses in your API request payloads. You retain full responsibility for obtaining user consent for data processing under applicable laws (e.g., DPDP Act, GDPR) before sending timestamp and coordinate data to our servers.

3. Billing, Overages & Strict No-Refund Policy

No Refund and No Return Policy

Because the Kundli.Click API is a metered, compute-intensive digital infrastructure service, all purchases, subscription payments, and overage charges are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable.

The moment an API request is successfully processed (returning a 200 OK status), server computing resources are permanently expended. Therefore, we do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations, refunds for unused monthly volume quotas, or refunds for accidental overages caused by bugs in your client-side code.

  • Invoicing: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly cycle in INR (₹). Standard 18% GST is applied to all invoices for Indian entities.
  • Overages: We do not hard-cap production traffic. If your application exceeds its monthly tier limit, excess requests are automatically billed at the overage rate specified on our Pricing page. You are solely responsible for monitoring your usage via the developer dashboard.
  • Cancellations: You may downgrade to the Sandbox tier or cancel your account at any time. Your production keys will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle, after which they will be deactivated. No refunds will be issued for the remaining time.

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Our commitments regarding API uptime and availability are exclusively governed by our Service Level Agreement. In the event of an eligible outage, your sole and exclusive remedy is the receipt of a Service Credit as defined in the SLA. Service Credits cannot be exchanged for cash refunds.

5. Intellectual Property

Kundli.Click retains all right, title, and interest in the API, our proprietary in-house calculation engines, the documentation, and all underlying software. You retain all rights to the frontend applications and interfaces you build using the API payloads. Use of our service does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kundli.Click shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues (whether incurred directly or indirectly), or any loss of data resulting from your use of the API. In no event shall our aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service exceed the total amount paid by you to Kundli.Click in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify active developers of material changes via the email address associated with your account or via a prominent notice on the developer dashboard. Your continued use of the API after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
