How are API requests counted and billed?
A request is metered only when our proprietary engine successfully parses your coordinates and returns a 200 OK HTTP status payload. Invalid requests (HTTP 400) or rate limit rejections (HTTP 429) are never billed against your monthly quota.
What happens if I exceed my monthly quota?
To prevent severe disruption to your end-users, we do not hard-cap production traffic on Startup or Premium plans. Excess requests are simply logged and billed automatically at the transparent per-request overage rate defined in your active tier.
Is the pricing compliant with Indian GST?
Yes. Because our B2B operations are based in India, all pricing is explicitly in INR (₹). The displayed prices are exclusive of 18% GST. A compliant B2B tax invoice is generated automatically at the end of your billing cycle allowing for seamless input tax credit (ITC) claims.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Compute tiers can be managed directly from your developer dashboard. If you upgrade mid-cycle, charges are prorated. If you cancel, your production keys remain active until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer a financially backed SLA?
Yes. Our Premium and Enterprise tiers come with a financially backed Uptime Service Level Agreement. If we fail to meet the 99.9% or 99.99% availability thresholds in a given month, you will receive automatic service credits applied to your next billing cycle.
Is user data (PII) stored on your servers?
No. The Kundli.Click API is 100% stateless. We process incoming timestamps and latitude/longitude pairs entirely in memory, emit the response payload, and immediately purge the data. No PII is stored, ensuring strict DPDP and GDPR compliance.
How do you handle high-concurrency?
Our API is designed for enterprise scale. We allocate specific concurrency limits per tier (e.g., 50 req/sec for Premium). Enterprise clients are deployed on isolated compute nodes to guarantee throughput during high-traffic events.
What engine powers the API?
The platform is powered exclusively by our proprietary, in-house mathematical calculation engine. It computes normalized 360-degree planetary coordinates natively in PHP, guaranteeing sub-millisecond execution without external dependencies.
Which Ayanamsa system is applied?
All calculations strictly adhere to the classical Chitra Paksha (Lahiri) Ayanamsa by default, ensuring exact alignment with standard Parashari and Jaimini Vedic astrology principles.
Do I need separate keys for different endpoints?
No. A single valid Bearer token grants you access to the entire suite of 100+ astrological endpoints (based on your tier's matrix). Generating a Lal Kitab chart or checking Panchang counts as one standard request.
What kind of technical support is provided?
Support scales with your tier. Sandbox users rely on our comprehensive API Reference. Startup tiers include 48h SLA email support. Premium receives 12h priority support, and Enterprise accounts get a dedicated Slack channel with our engineering team.
